| Adding a Patient to SpringCharts |
| From the Main Window, click New > New Patient. |

| The following screen opens: |

| Enter the patient's First Name, middle initial (MI), Last Name, and Date of Birth. All of these fields are required in early versions of SpringCharts. Beginning with Version 6.5, MI is no longer required. The practice city and state are default values that can be changed. |

| Add other fields as appropriate. Select Save to save the Patient's demographic data. |
